Day 3: Thame — Renjo la Pass (5360 m) — Gokyo (4750 m)

Day 4: Side trails around Gokyo (Climb Gokyo Ri (5357 m), see 4th and 5th lakes)

Day 5: Gokyo — Thaknak (4700 m) — Cho la pass (5420 m) — Dzongla (4830 m)

Day 6: Dzongla — Lobuche (4940 m) — Gorak shep (5164 m)

Day 7: Climb Kalapatthar (5643 m), explore around EBC (5380 m), back to Gorak shep (5164 m)

Day 8: Gorak shep — Lobuche (4940 m)

Day 9: Lobuche — Kongma la pass (5545 m) — Chukhung (4730 m)

Day 10: Climb Chukhung Ri (5550 m), {if the conditions favor then Trek to Imja Tse aka Island Peak (6189 m)}, back to Chukhung (4730 m).

Day 11: Chukhung -Dingboche (4410 m)

Day 12: Dingboche - Tyangboche (3860 m)- Namche Bazar (3440 m)

Day 13: Namche Bazar- Lukla (2860 m)

It’s a pretty tight plan, add acclimatization days, as necessary.

  • One of my sherpa friends mentioned that view from Mera Peak (6476 m) will be awesome if the weather permits. Other viewpoints are Island Peak (6189 m) and Lobuche peak (6119 m).
